The Goal is Simple: Make Incredible Tasting Beer.

What We Do

Ash & Ember Brewing was founded on the ideals of friendship, community and tradition. Our founders have been brewing tasty, award winning beers together since 2013. What started as a passionate hobby of two home brewers has turned into a great adventure of creating craft beers that remain true to their styles.

Home is where the towers are - nestled in historic Cedar Hill, Texas, our custom-built taproom offers a unique experience of fresh, quality beers on tap as well as to-go crowlers and growlers. We are a small, family-friendly brewery with the feel of an old-time English pub. Think of us as the "Cheers" of Cedar Hill - a small brewpub where locals and visitors can come together.

The tap-list rotates, but we are dedicated to finding the right high-quality ingredints to hand craft fresh and unique beers that revive timeless flavors and offer a unique community experience.

Keeping with traditional beer styles instead of following trends, the goal is simple: make incredible tasting beer.

Meet the Crew

Brian Krajcirovic headhot

Brian Krajcirovic

Brian’s family is from Slovakia, which explains why he loves a good Czech/Slovak-style pilsner. He grew up in Michigan & Florida, and followed his college sweetheart back to her hometown in Mansfield, Texas. He’s worked in hospitality and bartending as well as business, marketing, sales, computer graphics, and IT development. As an avid beer taster (and drinker), he started home brewing in his garage in 2005 and began brewing with his friend, Tim, in 2013. After winning brewing competitions, the two decided to take their passionate hobby of brewing and open their own brewery. Don’t be surprised if you stop by and find him pouring beers, taking orders or chatting about beer. He loves traditional beer styles that everyone can enjoy, straying true to making incredible tasting beers instead of following trends.

Tim Martin headshot

Tim Martin

Tim grew up in Cedar Hill, graduated from Cedar Hill High School and was an Eagle Scout in Troop 520. Throughout high school and after, he worked downtown at Phillips Lumber and became a regular at Sam’s Pizza. During a month long trip to Ireland and the U.K., he discovered an affinity for trying new and regional beers. He began home brewing in 2009, sometimes attempting to grow his own hops in his garden or trying new yeast strains. In 2013, Tim began home brewing with his buddy, Brian. Taking turns brewing in each other’s garages, Tim cultivated his passion for trying, tasting and creating new recipes. From there Tim & Brian entered various brewing competitions, winning awards for their porters, scotch ales, and more. Having lived in various spots throughout the metroplex, opening a brewery in Cedar Hill is a big homecoming for Tim. He loves traditional beer styles and bringing out unique flavors through classic ingredients. Outside of brewing he loves being a dad and husband.

Nestled in the heart of DFW - in historic Cedar Hill, TX.
